Department of Physics Conducted two open defence.

On 01.07.2019, I have attended PG Board of Studies Meeting at Department of Physics, University of Kerala. (Certificate)


After the conduct of two open defences, some measures are taken to streamline the function. First, A research scholar in our department will be given in charge of the conduct of the proceedings like the setting of microphone, projector etc. Secondly, the synopsis could be made available to the audience by scanning a QR code. Third, There are Six documents to be made while the conduct of the open defense (Minutes, Attendance Sheet, Invitee List, CR, TA/DA (Data Sheet + Order Copy), Honorarium (Datasheet-duplicate) which is to be monitored. Lastly, The questions from the student's side should be collected by a representative and the representative would read out the question to the PhD candidate. In such a process, time can be saved as well as Clarity for the question could be improved. These are my simple suggestions to improve the conduct of the open defence proceedings.

A Moment of Grace and Responsibility In the sacred silence of a church, we often see a priest standing before the congregation.
