Entropia – A Tribute in Print by Luminara

 Venue: CLIF, University of Kerala

Date: 28 April 2025
Occasion: Farewell & Felicitation Ceremony of Dr. I. Hubert Joe

In the midst of heartfelt tributes and emotional farewells, the FYUG Physics Major Students of Luminara added a vibrant and scholarly touch to the event with the launch of their magazine Entropia—a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and youthful exploration in physics.

The magazine was formally released by Prof. Sam Solomon, Director, Centre for Under graduate studies and Professor & Head, Department of Optoelectronics, in a graceful moment that beautifully bridged generations of physicists. The first copy was presented to Dr. I. Hubert Joe, a scientist, teacher, and mentor whose inspiring academic journey has been a guiding light for many.

This special issue of Entropia not only carries articles, illustrations, and reflections from students but also includes sections dedicated to contemporary physics topics, science communication, and academic tributes—making it a rich and thoughtful contribution to the student scientific community.

We are excited to share the magazine with the wider community.
