Ozone Day Seminar & Quiz and other activities- September, 2016
On 22nd and 27th September, 2016 I was
invited by KUCTE, Kumarapuram to conduct an inter college quiz competition and seminar on
Ozone day and its awareness. Principal Dr. Vijayakumari Amma extended warm welcome
and the hospitality which they offered commendable. Eight teams were selected
for preliminary round and five were selected for Main round. It should be
appreciated that the organizer were able to gather many students as audience
for this knowledge sharing program. The idea behind the program has a larger
perspective. Protect earth and prevent climate change was the motivation of the
program. If our efforts are combined in a synchronized manner, we still have
hope of a better future. I am thankful to the organizer who found me suitable
to the motivator for such a burning hot topic. If we take statistics, IPCC has
peered reviewed 92,000 journals confirming that human pollution is the real
cause behind the alarming increase in cancer patients. Even a small effort to
prevent this, is a deed to be appreciated. Attaching some photos of the same.

Last few weeks we had Onam holidays;
hence I was not able to update the events related to Onam celebration. Onam,
once again season of newness, spirit fullness and happiness touched our mind
reminding us about the great king we had. New M Sc batch students had arrived
and it was nice to see their whole hearted participation in the events. Attaching

who wanted me to join with Jawahar sir to share a lite moment together.
Every Onam, We, inmates of
Teachers Hostel under the Leadership of Mr. Noushad and Dr. Pramod Kiran
organize a lively shuttle tournament for faculties in the university. I too participated
in it. This time I missed GOLD. I. along with Dr. Darwin, became the runner ups
of the tournament. But I feel that Dr. A R Rajan sand Dr. Immanuel outplayed us
in every manner. In their sixties, they played like real champions. Dr.
Radhamani, Our Syndicated memner, Dr. Nazeeb, Miss. Anu Unni commented that
their victory is a sweet revenge towards UGC’s decision to take off guide ship
from retired faculties. Yes it si true, they are real guides. Attaching Some
