Asha Francis .C	ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന് മരണമണി മുഴങ്ങികൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഗാന്ധിയെ പറ്റി ഓർക്കുകയെന്നത് ഒരു സമരമാണ്.  ഉയർത്തി പിടിച്ച മൂല്യങ്ങളെ ധീരമായി കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ച വ്യക്തി.   കൊച്ചുകുട്ടിയായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാനറിഞ്ഞ ഗാന്ധി കോപ്പിയടിക്കാൻ അവസരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടും കോപ്പിയടിക്കാതിരുന്ന ഗാന്ധിയാണ്, വാച്ചില്ലാത്തതു കാരണം വൈകിയെത്തിയതിനു അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റെ വഴക്കു കേൾക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് വൈകുകയില്ലെന്ന് പ്രതിജ്ഞയെടുത്ത ഗാന്ധി, സംസാരിക്കാൻ പേടിച്ച, അപകർഷതാബോധം വേട്ടയാടിയ പിന്നീട് ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ ആകമാനം സ്വാധീനിച്ച ഗാന്ധി.   ഗാന്ധി മുന്നോട്ടുവച്ച അഹിംസയെയും സത്യത്തെയും വിലമതിക്കുന്നു .ഗാന്ധി എന്നും ഒരത്ഭുതമാണ്. അഹിംസയിലൂടെയും നിസഹകരണത്തിലൂടെയും പൊരുതി എന്നത് ആലോചിക്കുമ്പോൾ അത്ഭുതം തോന്നാറുണ്ട്.   ഗിരിനിരകളോളം പഴക്കമുള്ള അഹിംസക്ക് ഇന്നത്തെ ഇന്ത്യയെ മാറ്റാൻ കഴിയുമെന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. ഗാന്ധിയെ പോലെ വ്യക്തി പ്രഭാവമുള്ള നേതാക്കൾ ഇന്ന് നമുക്കില്ല. ഗാന്ധിയെ പറ്റി പറയാനും പ്രസംഗിക്കാനു എളുപ്പമാണ് പക്ഷേ,ഇന്നത്തെ അവസ്ഥയിൽ ഗാന്ധിയായി ജീവിക്കുക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ്.   അഹിംസയിൽ മാത്രം ഊന്നിയ സമരമുറ കൊണ്ട് ഫാഷിസ്റ്റ് നയങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ പോരാടാം എന്ന ഹൃദയവിശാലത എനിക്കില്ല. അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പോലെ സത്യസന്ധതയുള്ള ലാളിത്യമുള്ള ജീവിതങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ. മതത്തിനും മുകളിലാണ് മനുഷ്യൻ എന്ന ചിന്തയുണ്ടാകട്ടെ.   മതം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന മുറിവുണക്കാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണെന്ന് ഗാന്ധിക്കറിയാമായിരുന്നു. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നേടുന്ന സമയത്ത് കലാപഭൂമിയിലെ ജനങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച ഗാന്ധി വർഗ്ഗീയതയും വെറുപ്പിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയവും പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നേതാക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരു വലിയ പാഠമാണ്. ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ മരിക്കാൻ അനുവദിച്ചുകൂടാ, ഗാന്ധിയെ മറക്കാനും അനുവദിച്ചുകൂടാ…...
Aswin  Krishna. N	ആരുണ്ടി ത്ര  നികൃഷ്ടനായ് എന്നെപ്പോൽ  കുടിലൻ  ഖലൻ? കൃതഘ്നൻ  വഞ്ചകൻ   ഞാനെൻ സ്രഷ്ടാവെക്കൈ വെടിഞ്ഞവൻ.
Ayushy Unnikrishnan	" In a gentle way,you can shake the world". This is my favourite quote of Gandhiji. And I believe that with a gentle touch, with a smile,with a kind word we can change everything. That are much more powerful than a gun or even an atomic bomb.    After writing the above lines, I read it again and again. and I asked myself that, if one person sexually abused me, can I give a gentle smile to him? with that smile can i give him the punishment that he deserves? Will that smile make him regret?
Devika Raj .B	"സ്കൂളിൽ ഇന്സ്പെക്ഷന് വന്ന അധികാരി ക്ലാസ്സിലെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഡിക്ടഷൻ (കേട്ടെഴുത് )ഇട്ടു. അതിൽ ഒരു വാക്ക് kettel എന്നായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാ കുട്ടികളും എല്ലവാക്കും ശെരിയായി എഴുതുന്നത് ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ അധ്യാപകൻ കണ്ടു. എന്നാൽ ഒരു കുട്ടി kettel എന്ന വാക്ക് തെറ്റിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അധികാരികണ്ടാൽ മോശം ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ ആണ് എന്ന് വിചാരിക്കും എന്ന പേടിയിൽ അധ്യാപകൻ കുട്ടിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു അപ്പുറത്തെ കുട്ടിയുടെ നോക്കി എഴുതാൻ. എന്നാൽ ആ കുട്ടി അത് കേട്ടില്ല. അവനു ശെരി എന്നു തോന്നിയ വാക്ക് എഴുതി. എന്നാൽ അത് തെറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. തെറ്റ് ആണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും തന്റെ സത്യസന്ധത കൈവിടാതെ ഇരുന്ന ആ ബാലന്റെ പേരാണ് മോഹൻദാസ് കരം ചന്ദ് ഗാന്ധി. " -4 അം ക്ലാസ്സിൽ മലയാളം ടീച്ചർ പുസ്തകത്തിലെ ഈ വരികൾ വായിച്ചു നിർത്തിയത് എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ അതിശയത്തോടെ ആയിരുന്നു. ആ കുട്ടിക്ക് എങ്ങനെ സത്യസന്ധൻ ആകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ്. നോട്ടിൽ കാണാന്കഴിയുന്ന മുഖം ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ പിൽക്കാലങ്ങളിൽ കാണിച്ച സത്യസന്ധതയും ത്യാഗവും കേട്ടും വായിച്ചും അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് എങ്ങനെ ഇങ്ങനെ ആകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ് എന്ന ചിന്ത എന്നെ ഇന്നും അതിശയിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.   പിന്നിട് ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമരങ്ങളിലൂടെ ലോകത്തിൽ തന്നെ പേരുകേട്ട മുന്നണി പോരാളി ആയി ആയുധം എടുക്കാതെ പ്രക്ഷോഭം കാട്ടാതെ ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ നിറഞ്ഞുനിന്നു. ക്ഷമയുടെയും ത്യാഗത്തിന്റെയും ചരിത്രം കാട്ടിത്തന്ന ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ മണ്ണിൽ പിറന്ന മഹാനായ ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ അഹിംസ എന്ന ശീലിക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമുള്ള ഒന്നിനെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉടനീളം പ്രാവർത്തികം ആക്കി ഇഹലോകവാസം വെടിഞ്ഞു.   ഉള്ളവനും ഇല്ലാത്തവനും എന്നെ ലോകം കണ്ടിരുന്നുള്. എന്നാൽ ഉള്ളത് പോലും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഭിക്ഷു ആയി സമാദാനത്തിന്റെ പാത കാട്ടിയ ബുദ്ധന്റെ പിൻഗാമി ആയിരുന്നു ഗാന്ധി. എന്തെല്ലാം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു !! ജോലി, സമ്പാദ്യം, കുടുംബസുഖം, എന്തിനു വസ്ത്രം പോലും !!!! ഇന്ത്യയിലെ അധഃകൃതരായി മുദ്രകുത്തപ്പെട്ട ഹരിജനങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി ഒരു സ്ഥാനം ഉറപ്പിക്കാൻ ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ വഹിച്ച പങ്ക് വലുതായിരുന്നു. ഭഗത് സിംഗ് തോക്കെടുത്തു പോരാടി, സമരം ചെയ്തു. ഗാന്ധി നിരാഹാരം കിടന്നു . രണ്ടും പ്രശംസ അർഹിക്കുന്നത് ആണ്.   വാളിന് പകരം വാള് എപ്പോളും എടുക്കേണ്ട, സമാദാനപരമായ ഒരു പുഞ്ചിരി മതി പലപ്പോഴും വല്യ വഴക് ശമിപ്പിക്കാൻ എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കാട്ടിക്കൊടുത്തു.   തീവ്രമായ മതഭ്രാന്തോ, ജീവിതമാർഗം മുട്ടിയ രോഷമോ, കൊണ്ട് തലക്ക് മത്തുപിടിച്ച ഗോഡ്‌സെ തോക്കുചൂണ്ടി വെടിയുതിർത്തത് ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ ജീവനെയായിരുന്നു.   'അഭിനവ ഗാന്ധിമാർ ' അഴിമതിയും അക്രമവും, ചതിയും നടത്തി അവകാശങ്ങൾക്ക് മേൽ വെല്ലുവിളികൾ ഉയർത്തുമ്പോൾ ഇങ്ങനെ രക്തവും മാംസവും കൊടുത്തു ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഈ തലമുറയും വരും തലമുറയും ആഴത്തിൽ അറിയേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.   ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ വേണ്ടി പോരാടിയപ്പോളും, കറുത്തവൻ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ട്രെയിനിൽ നിന്നു തള്ളിവിട്ടപോലും ഉള്ളിലെ അണയാത്ത ഇച്ഛാശക്തി ഈ മനുഷ്യനെ മുന്നോട്ട് നയിച്ചു.   ഒരുകവിളിൽ അടി കിട്ടിയാൽ മറു കവിൾ കാട്ടാൻ ഞാൻ ഗാന്ധി അല്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ഹീറോസ് ആകാൻ ശ്രേമിക്കുമ്പോൾ   ക്ഷമ " ശീലിക്കാൻ അറിയാവുന്നവനാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ ഹീറോ എന്ന് അവർ ഓർകുന്നില്ല. ഭഗത് സിംഗ് തോക്കുകൊണ്ട് പോരാടിയതും ഗാന്ധി അഹിംസയോടെ  പോരാടിയതും രണ്ട് തലം   സ്വന്തം ജീവിതം തന്നെ സന്ദേശം ആക്കിയ മനുഷ്യൻ................. !!! എത്ര ഗോഡ്സെമാർ വെടിയുതിർത്തലും., മൂന്നാംനാൾ ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ പോലെ ഈ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ദേഹമേ മണ്ണിൽ അലിഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്   പ്രഭാവം ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകും
Fathimathul Sahala	In the present scenario , remembering the deeds and words of our Mahatma Gandhi is of great importance. Gandhi taught us non-violence method and it's success to bring our nation from British rulers. His life was his message. He never gave up his identity and traits such as humbleness, honesty,discipline, humanity,..., etc. For the present generation and also for the upcoming generations there are alot of ideologies to learn from the great personality. Now, we all living in a sefish world. All look around to fulfil their needs only without considering others emotions and lives.We deliberately try to forget the fact that we are 'social beings'. In this time, the words of Gandhi " The world has enough for everyone's need, but nothing  for everyone's greed" has very significant role. It's our duty to give the world for the next generations as the way we got it.
Sibi K S	This is a story of a woman in India who was upset about her son who was eating too much sugar. No matter how much she scolded him, he continued to satisfy his sweet tooth. Totally frustrated, she decided to take her son to see his great hero Mahatma Gandhi. She approached the great leader respectfully and said, Sir, my son eats too much sugar. It is not good for his health. Would you please advise him to stop eating it?” Gandhi listened to the woman carefully, turned and spoke to her son, “Go home and come back in two weeks.” The woman looked perplexed and wondered why he had not asked the boy to stop eating sugar. She took the boy by the hand and went home. Two weeks later she returned, boy in hand. Gandhi motioned for them to come forward. He looked directly at the boy and said, “Boy, you should stop eating sugar. It is not good for your health.” The boy nodded and promised he would not continue this habit any longer. The boy’s mother turned to Gandhi and asked, “Why didn’t you tell him that two weeks ago when I brought him here to see you?” Gandhi smiled, “Mother, two weeks ago I was still eating sugar myself.” Gandhi lived in such integrity that he would not allow himself to give advice unless he was living by it himself.   Dear friends, I feel that Gandhiji does hold immense value in today’s life too. We, teachers,  often try to educate, advise on things that haven't worked for them in life. I don't know whether the above story is true or not, but i certainly know that this story fits well for Gandhiji. Ahimsa, his venture has been of constant criticism then and now. It is hard to believe that such a man did walk the earth. If he was there with us, I would have a number of questions to ask him. This small venture is a humble attempt to know my student’s view about a man who was committed to change the world.
