Alumni meet 2019 was conducted at Auditorium, Department of Physics on February 19, 2019. The details of the events are given in the brochure. I thank the alumni for their presence and the wishes dedicated to the success of this pilot program towards a grand together in 2020 as the golden jubilee celebration of our department is fast approaching. Professor V K Vaidyan, Former HOD, was the chief guest of the morning session. He said that with technology fast advancing it is possible to get a connection with all the luminaries and visionary who are associated with the department since it has an illustrious history from the 1970s. Vaidyan Sir officially inaugurated the event and Dr G Subodh extended the presidential address to the gathering. The idea behind these gathering is to be inspired.
