Science Fest at Kendriya Vidyalaya and National Seminar at Department of Chemistry, University of Kerala
Two of the recent program which I was fortunate to attend was Science Fest at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode and National Seminar at Department of Chemistry, University of Kerala. On 4th and 5th October 2018, I was appointed as Judge for selecting 17 students from all Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kerala for National Science Fest. There were around 150 participants presenting their ideas, innovations and data analysis. It was a nice time to watch the students present in style with clarity to the jury members. I learned that the breeding they have in KV is definitely different from what we see in state-governed schools. I don’t say that students from the state governed school are inferior to them but I would like to comment that Students who presented from KV have a genuine skill to be present their ideas is an organised manner. I have seen that innovations presented are quite novel and their passion to know things more are evident. I congratulate the teachers in KV for their dedication towards work. Especially I would like to thank Sukesh sir for the hospitality he rendered to me during my stay over there. Attaching some photos of the same...
Now the next program which I attended was on 11 October 2018. National Seminar on Neoteric Advances in Chemical Science (NACS 2018) was conducted on 11th and 12th at Department of Chemistry, University of Kerala. I thank Biju Sir, Anideepthi Madam, Jayasree madam for finding me apt to judge the presentations of M Phil and research scholars at the seminar. There were around 11 participants presenting a wide variety of research topics from Biophysics, fuel cells, Phosphors to plastic electronics. Attaching some photos of the same...
