Field Visit


It is with great pleasure, I inform all my students that EC, CE and ME batch of Government Engineering College, Barton hill has successfully completed the field visits on 06.11.2013, 07.11.2013 and 11.11.2013. I am happy to see that there were wholehearted representation from all the three batches and I am pleased to see the young minds being filled with joy and happiness. I am eagerly waiting to go with EEE and IT batch next week. I also take this opportunity to ask all my students to join Physics club and actively participate in future programmes. I would also like to start a monthly magazine related to physics which can be a suitable medium to interact with students with diverse fields of science. Your opinion can be informed to illuminathiphysics@gmail.com . Looking forward for your comments in this blog site.

I was delighted to deliver a talk at Sree Narayana College, Varkala, as part of the TRENDZ Seminar Series 2025 organised by the PG Department of Physics. Speaking on “2D Materials for a Sustainable Energy Future” , I had the opportunity to introduce students and faculty to the fascinating world of ultrathin materials, their role in next-generation fuel cells, and how they tie into the broader vision of sustainable development. A Moment of Grace and Responsibility In the sacred silence of a church, we often see a priest standing before the congregation. He may not always be the wisest, the most talented, or the most scholarly in the scriptures. Yet, once chosen to stand in that space, he carries a responsibility, not of perfection, but of presence. He becomes a vessel, entrusted to speak, to guide, and to serve. These words, shared by Nazeeb Sir, deeply resonate with me.
