On 20.11.2013, I was able to take students of S1S2 IT to planetarium. To our delight, we had a marvelous opportunity to meet Dr. P Sreekumar, Professor, Indian Institute for Astrophysics. He delivered a talk on “Planetary Exploration: Our solar system and beyond”. I am attaching herewith photos we had with the invited speaker. It is with great pleasure, I inform all my students that EC, CE and ME batch of Government Engineering College, Barton hill has successfully completed the field visits on 06.11.2013, 07.11.2013 and 11.11.2013. I am happy to see that there were wholehearted representation from all the three batches and I am pleased to see the young minds being filled with joy and happiness. I am eagerly waiting to go with EEE and IT batch next week. I also take this opportunity to ask all my students to join Physics club and actively participate in future programmes. I would also like to start a monthly magazine related to physics which can be a suitable medium to interact with students with diverse fields of science.
